About the Journal

El Imam El Mahdi Journal of Medical and Health Sciences is the official scientific
journal of faculties of Medicine, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Nursing Sciences, and
Public and Environmental Health of the University of El Imam El Mahdi. It is a pre-
reviewed journal issued bi- annually. The main objective is to publish local scientific
research in various aspects of health as well as regional and international relevant research.
It publishes articles on all health aspects and concerns; basic sciences, clinical sciences,
behavioral sciences, medical education and community health. The journal will have more
emphasis on articles addressing community health problems or focusing in health problem
in White Nile state, Sudan, Africa and Arab World. Journal will publish original articles,
reviews, case report, letters to editor, commentaries and innovated techniques.

The journal will publish summaries of the academic activities of all health faculties at the University El Imam El Mahdi.
